About R.B. U'Ren Equipment Inc.
Our company history spans all the way back to 1929, when it was founded by Richard B. U’Ren Sr. as U’Ren Sound & Power. We started a search light and public address system rental company.
Later, in 1955, Richard B. U’Ren Jr. (Dick) took the role as company president and added new equipment to our fleet, including emergency generators and bucket trucks. He also built the first 90-foot bucket truck to be used at the Niagara Falls Convention Center in the early 70s! By 1988, Dick had passed away and his eldest son, Richard K. U’Ren (Rick), became president. Rick continued to expand the company’s fleet and opened our Rochester branch.
Today, we’re still committed to building our reputation as a family-owned and -operated business that’s dedicated to the community and the development of WNY. Our goal is to keep growing within the industry and provide our customers with the most innovative aerial and power solutions.
