OSHA. Occupational Safety and Health Administration. This organization works to prevent work-related injuries, illnesses and, death by issuing and enforcing standards for workplace safety and health.

ANSI. American National Standards Institute is an organization that manages a voluntary standardization system For US companies since 1918.

A.W.P.  Aerial Work Platform. Although regulations have changed what the proper name is, Aerial Work Platforms or AWP is still used across the industry to describe scissor lifts, boom lifts, and personnel lifts.

M.E.W.P. Mobile Elevated Work Platform is the new regulation proper term used when talking about aerial lifts. The change is designed to allow the regulations to be the same globally.

Lull is a slang term for a Telehandler. Although it was once a brand, the name had made such an impact that customers still ask for a Lull when ordering a Telehandler. A telehandler is a forklift with a boom allowing the user to move loads that are generally unreachable for a conventional forklift.

Genny. The shorter version of the word generator. Often customers use the shorthand term when placing an order to get the point across quickly. Without being aware this term is used, people may become confused.

Put-Put. Another informal way to describe a small easily moved generator. Customers also use this term when placing orders.
